A group heard like no other, with influences ranging from Hip-Hop to Hardcore Screamo. This is sure a mix that was born from originality. Consisting of 3 members, Brokencyde brings not only a composed talent but also a sound that has been captured by thousands of fans from around the World. Se7en, the writer, rapper, screamer, and music producer of the group. Started writing and rhyming at an early age, by 17 he released a cd under the name Majestimatix, titled Come follow me! He also appeared in numerous rap groups throughout the southwest. Mikl Shea, an Albuquerque native, brings the haunting vocals which seem to dwell you into the pain he felt when he lost his real life love, and with no prior experience you could only wonder how a voice so astounding is possible. Pete "CyN" Hurtado, the newest addtion to the group with a musical background that extends to a young age of 12, at 15 he was the lead guitar player for Texas based Band Blind, which later became At the Park which toured extensivley with the All American Rejects. Pete himself hit a record deal under texas based Label Headley Records. Under the name Pete Majia releasing a single "These Hollywood Hills" that hit radio play in all 50 states. CyN fell into the group of May 2007 after meeting Se7en and Mikl Shea at Battle of the Bands at New Mexico State University, Alamagordo. The 3 young men clicked right away and a week later the new Brokencyde was hitting thousands of plays a day on myspace, thus placing themselfs in the in MS Charts as one of the top 50 screamo bands in the United States, and that is attracting young people to come together and spread the word on the next upcoming group that is sure to grab your attention and just may be the next big thing the hit the music scene and prehaps change the industry as we know it. Broken!
