I got an old Pioneer receiver off ebay for $40 to power my monitors and it works and sounds great. You might try looking there.

I would like to go with 1/4" jacks, but point taken: just about any amp will work. I'll keep my eyes peeled.

There's a Mackie and a QSC on ABQ Craigs List right now...May be a little more power, (well, the 3k amp, anyway), than you're looking for, though...and a Crest on the Santa Fe CL.

I've got a power amp to give you for free, if you would like it. Here's its' story. It's a Bryston (canadian very high end). One of the channels caught on fire quite a few years ago, we rebuilt it into a mono amp (the transformer was still good) to use for monitors. I've since bought others and I havent used it in 4 years, it worked fine then. It only needs a new power cord put in, the other cable has disintegrated to a point of questionable insulation from sitting around. I believe it was 100-150 watts, studio grade, rca inputs though. 4 rack spaces, the only drawback is that it weighs an absolute ton. If you want it, just give me your phone number. If not, I'll just leave it to continue to decorate my garage.
