I mean, brand, brand new. Even has the factory strings on it. I just bought this from Grandma's a month ago and it couldn't have been there for more than a week or two. Fender revamped the Highway Ones this summer. They now have a 70s headstock, Badass II bridge, and vintage nitrocelulose finish. Guitar Center doesn't even have these new models in stock yet.
I've only taken it out of the case three times. Twice to play it and once to install a vintage tortoise shell pickguard (off of a '66 P-Bass).
I bought this as a counterpart/back up for my fretless '71 P-Bass. But now a good buddy is offering to sell me his fretted '71 for a pittance. Otherwise, I wouldn't even think of selling this bass.
These are $740 new without case at all the big chain stores. I'm asking $650 for this bass and Fender gig bag.
Here is a stock pic of one. Remember mine has the 4 ply tortoiseshell pickguard on it, not the ugly white one.
