Peavey Delta Blues amp for sale. This amp is in near-perfect condition with just a few little scuffs here and there. It has a single 15" speaker in it. I switched out the original Peavey Marvel speaker with a vintege Alnice magnet Eminence speaker from the late 60's. This gives the amp a little more bite and it overdrives nicely. This is a nice little amp for gigging and it is LOUD. Here are the amp's features:
* 30 watts into 16 or 8 ohms
* All-tube (three 12AX7 and four EL84 tubes)
* 2-channel preamp
* One 15 inch Blue MarvelĀ® speaker
* Tremolo with speed and intensity
* Pre- and post-gain controls on lead channel
* Normal volume control on clean channel
* 3-band passive EQ (bass, middle, treble)
* Boost switch
* Master reverb
* Footswitch selectable channel switching and tremolo
* Effects loop
* Classic tweed covering material
* Chrome plated
* External speaker jack
I am missing the footswitch, but any universal 2-button footswitch will work. I am also including the original picture. $350 takes it (this lists for $600). I can send you pics or you can come see it in person. Email me at giranimals@yahoo.com

jeez... sellin this puppy already huh?

well... this is a good amp for the money. i'm pretty sure the circuit design was based off the fender mid-level amps (deville, deluxe, etc)... would normally sound a little muddier due to the 15" speaker, but the EL84's keep it pretty bright. a good solid little amp.

and yeah, the tweed is a nice touch.

thus ends my commercial for maury's amp.

Selling it 'cause I found a mint '62 Valco-made Gretsch Variety 2x12" amp. It is KILLER, a lot like a Fender twin but weighs a lot less, so I had to sell something.

maury... you should seriously drop by the holy tone board, spend some time there, we could use a good tone head. and we need more drummer talk.

quest for the holy tone
