More importantly give a description to all the local stores who deal with used gear and let them know to look out for it. I was at MGR years ago when some douches came in trying to sell stolen gear that had been reported to them.

Needless to say the thieves walked out in handcuffs - was pretty freakin' cool.

Where were these guitars stolen from?

I'd keep an eye on ebay too. Those Vs are pretty rare birds. I was looking for one last year. I would definitely contact every music store and pawn shop that you can with a description. You really can't hide that V. Hope you find it Dom.

What fuckers these thieves are. This is why we draw straws for someone to sleep in the van when we're on the road. An armed guard is the only way to go.

We're too paranoid for even that. We unload all our gear into the hotel rooms with us.
Anyhow, hope you get your gear back. I'll def. keep my eyes open.

Was this covered under your homeowner's insurance? Def. something I'd like to look into.

Where were they stolen from? I'm just curious so I can make sure I don't leave my shit there!

I saw a band in Denver that had a long, thin steel cable lock going thru all their gear. They strung the cable thru all their guitar case handles and thru the amp handles..... It's a deterrent at least. Esp. when your shit is sitting at a club and you aren't watching it too closely.
