Excellent pair of early 1960's Avedis hi hats - wonderfully smooth, shimmery, complex, warm wash, and a darker than the average Avedis tone. Thin hats with the perfect wash for the jazz set. Interesting because they don't have a lot of patina for their age. In EXCELLENT condition all the way with NO cracks, NO keyholes, NO issues! Classic tone and hard to find in this weight... these are good ones!!!
Weight: Top - 735 grams / Bottom - 755 grams Early 1960's logo stamp. $225 firm |

Not steep at all. The market for nice old Avedis Zildjians is very high, and even higher for old K Zildjian Istanbuls. I weigh mine every time I sell them. Most buyers want to know the weight-the lighter they are, the more they sell for. I'd try ebay.

I belong to a few online drum sites and there is one that has a classified section and all these drummers sell or trade their gear there, once I find the right one I'll pass that along to ya.......
