Wow. That promo made me feel weird. Who's to say what's in tune and out of tune? I wonder if you can choose the frequencies, or if they are factory set. Is it just intonation or equal temperament? I guess it won't matter much when Gibson introduces the Robot Musician, programed to play the perfect notes in perfect time to a robot audience.

I dont get it, is there something in the electronics (pickups) that control the tune? Strings stretch, you eventualy would have to tune it no?

No, it actually rotates the tuning pegs and tunes the guitar.

Well, anyone who can't tune a guitar has no business playing one, IMO, but if it really works, that won't hold 'em back anymore.

Then again, if I had to listen to 'em, I guess I'd rather they be in tune.
