Neal Schon & The Robo-Guitar

Gibson-Robo Guitar

Robo-Kills Strat!

Even though I'm not a guitarist I've read some some cool articles on this guitar...It should do very well!

Looking foward to stopping by Grandma's and checking you out and demonstrating it!

I just wanna see how the damn thing tunes itself!!!

Now, why can't we have acoustic drums that tune themselves???? Tell me why, why why why!!!

This would be a great joke - reprogram the "robot" to tune to a different tuning than the player is used to. Then watch the hijinx ensue - unable to tune his/her own axe, the "guitarist" has a total onstage meltdown.

Seriously, I do not "get it." As I opined in another thread, anyone who can't tune his or her instrument has NO reason to be playing.

i agree, the robot guitar is about as stupid as car balls. way finer instruments can be had for $2200. if you can't tune a guitar than you should find another hobby!

Wait.. it can't smash itself? Can it at least project disco lights and declare, "KILL ALL HUMANS," in a robotic tone? Can it build a car? Vacuum? Do huge calculations at lightnng speed? Then it ain't no robot I care about.

$2199? I could just hire a guitar player to tune for me at that price.

But I'm just talking shit. I have no moral objection (or, at least my objection is far below a million other things in the world I hate). The idea of being able to go to drop d in seconds does appeal.

Some funny shit! I agree with all... And to pay $2200 to be in tune!?? Are you kidding me? If you need a different tuning for some things. Buy another fuckin guitar! You can easily buy 4 or 5 for that price!

what they really need, more so than robot guitar, is a robot guitar player. Then we give it the robot guitar, get some robot groupies in there, robot soundguys... hell, let's just cut people out altogether.

Johnny 5 here is into country, I guess. I would have thought new wave or techno. Electroclash. Anyway, we really need to be ready for the day when we get replaced by robots, and message boards are all robot arguments about robot "scenes"

Also, just to decide this now before the robots do: when robot groupies hook up with robot guitar players, it should be called "ro-blows." robot bass players will still be losers.

And I think it's important we invent some kind of robot cocaine. Um... also called "ro-blow?"

Anyway, I for one welcome our new robot overlords.
