The Giranimals as we know them are calling it quits. We will play our show on October 3rd at the Tavern, but will be disbanding after that and pursuing other things. There was no huge fight or bad blood, we all just felt it was time to do other things. We'll see what happens musically, but Connie and I will still write music together and probably do something as a duo-Viva Voce/Mates of State style. But first, we'll all be taking a break from gigging and all that. Thanks for the support and fun. We'll see you all at shows and whatnot.

Best of everything to you folks. Giranimals' catchy hooks and melodies as well as y'all's positive presence will be missed for sure.

Hope everyone in your world is happy and healthy.

Stay gold and keep on keeping on.

Ya, we had laid down some tracks, but we weren't totally happy with them and were going to record again, but everyone had sort of lost steam and interest. We're all really busy with other things outside of the band, and it had gotten to the point where it was nearly impossible to schedule a practice time where we could all make it. Rather than be one of those bands that only practices once every three months and never plays anything new, we decided to bow out gracefully and move on. We'll all be involved in musical projects in some way or another. Connie and I have already started laying down some new tracks at home on my reel to reel (we're playing all of the instruments). Anyhow, you all need to come to our last show. It's at the Cavern in Liverpool on Oct. 3rd....oh wait, it's the Tavern on Menaul. We'll rock out like you've never seen us rock out before. Promise.
