We sort of overbooked ourselves for the next week or so, I feel like Levi and Romeo GTH must feel
Tuesday, Nov. 25th, 12:00 PM - University of New Mexico in front of the student union by the statues. Monday, Oct. 31st (Halloween!) - Harlow's on the Hill with Gallipoli. Tuesday, Nov. 1st - Burt's Tiki Lounge with a great touring band called Locksley and another tba. Friday, Nov. 4th - the Launchpad with Love As Laughter (an amazing band on Sub Pop from New York), Beruit, and Bosco. We're going on 3rd as far as I can tell. Sunday, Nov. 6th - we are recording Ear to the Ground at KUNM. No idea when it will broadcast, but we're taping it that day anyhow. Come out to one or some or all of these shows. We promise we will try to sound pretty. |

The UNM thing was hilarious. The grade schoolers were having some kind of field trip to Popejoy, and it ended right as we started playing. So, we had like a thousand snickering teenagers watching us. They were actually pretty nice and clapped and hooted a lot more than stone-faced cross-armed indie kids ever would

That's funny. I once saw the band Los Super Elegantes play an outdoor show, and an elementary school field trip was coming through. It was third graders maybe? The little kids started to riot. They made a mosh pit and were punching each other while the band sang about angel dust and sex. The teachers had to drag them away one by one. I was totally cracking up, though in retrospect they probably all grew up into those hardcore kids with the arm swinging shit.
Anyway, sometime when you are not so busy we'd love to play with you again. You folks are awesome. |
