Seriously, Josh broke his back snowboarding in Santa Fe on Tuesday. We have a show on Saturday, so I called to ask him if he wanted to cancel. I was expecting to hear a resounding "yes", but he said he's getting a back brace and that he has a high pain tolerance and that he's pretty sure he can still play the drums. (!!) What a trooper. So everybody send Josh some words of encouragement and some good vibes. Hopefully he'll be on the mend doublequick.

If he doesnt let that back heal properly he is gonna have a fucked up back for the rest of his life. One little show is no biggie. Let that kid heal.

Yeah I was pretty reluctant for him to do that show. As far as I know he's been taking it easy. He's back to work now though.

By the way, we ended up not playing the show. Too much bad crap happened that week--it just wasn't meant to be.
