I just ate but I'm still hungry. Tapeworm? Anyway, I'm thinking about all the delicious treats of which I will be partaking at the State Fair on Saturday. However, there is only so much space my stomach & pocketbook can afford.
My vote is for the Funnel Cake, not because it's so much better than the rest, though still slightly better, but more because it reminds me of Dollywood. That's right, I grew up fairly close to Dolly Parton's theme park, and it's just as bad and good (in a kitchy way) as you could imagine. Guys bangin' away on steel and anvils, craft artists selling crap, hack country artists still finding gigs there and fattening, delicious food. Butter and sugar in this bread not enough... put some more sugar on top. Mmmmmm...
