Handed to me by I guess one of the Bus dudes himself at the Fall Crawl, this CD-R is harder and sludgier than I would've imagined. Not quite Static-X territory but might appeal to some of their mellower demographic. But even my musical reverse-misogyny (if a gurl sings it I'll probably like it) was of little avail here with the split female vox that didn't do me much. But Good Lord! what the fuck is up with the dreamy-ska ballad?! The three most poison musical words you can utter to me are, in descending order: emo, reggae and punk-rock. The fact that this disc froze my Dell three times while trying to listen to three tracks was no endearment either. Still as bad as this review sounds, I didn't hate the first two cuts.

screw wigwambamslameflammyjammyjam whatever...i think its killer. since the local band MOTHER went away, no other female vocalist has really kicked my ass....well...my ass has been kicked..good job gio!

at least you got a review. I wouldn't have the slightest idea what to do with myself if someone wrote somthing about us. Well, other than the crap they write on our fliers in the hall at Lesmens, but that's all just love. I think...

you know.. if the CD crashed dudes PC three times, so be it. It's all relative and who knows, maybe it was a Buddhist CD giving a little reverse karma for the "foreseen" crappy write up. huh?.. huh?? it cou'happen

Any write up is a good one. The fact that the Captain took the time to write anything shows that, even if he wasn't overly exited about the cd, it still made enough of an impression on him to make him write something.

I would say take it as constructive criticism, and use what you want from it...then discard the rest. You guys have a fucking rockin' band, but you could always get better. Maybe next time Gio should take over all the vocals, just to please some local rag......no there are better reasons for Gio to do more vocals that have nothing to do with what any one is gonna write.
Just my two cents.......which is really hard to part with, since I'm sooooooo poor.

I fixed it!!!!! Finally figuring this site out sheesh. To be honest..and this is only my opinion..I could careless what Wig Wam Cap America had to say to be honest with you all. I was going over his reviews....not impressed..this guys like a horrible siskel so...ehh no worries.. But he did wirte about it. Whatever.......when the day comes we can look back and be like....meh!! Anyways good news guy good news..we have gurantees for places for or album when it comes out. Ive been workin hard.... -Doc
