So we played a show in California city the other day at a park and we had a great turnout which was awesome but there was a drunk guy trying to mosh with himself and pretty much pissing every body off. Then he decided that he needed to be on stage and proceded to mosh dance on stage. Some members of other bands and Matt (really cool guy were staying with in cal city while we do gigs in the area) Had to pull him off stage and Matt who is a black belt in kenpo slammed him down to the ground but he still persisted on being right in front of the stage. Since we couldn't kick him out of a public park we had to have four guys in front of the stage blocking the audiences view preventing this guy from falling on our equipment or us. However the highlight of the night was when the last band was on Josh went up to this guy and depantsed him. He got mad but didn't try to fight josh because I don't think he really knew what happened or maby he forgot what he was mad about. I'm sure similar things have happened to ya'll . By the end of our set I wanted to kill the guy. Some members of other bands talked to the guy later and said he was actually really cool. Tell us about similar situations or especially if you've ever been the drunk jerk. Black Maria, anyone?

I dunno.

I do remember this guy being a total prick--pushing little girls into other people, splashing beer on women, shoving this teenage kid around. I mean, moshing is cool whatever, but he was intentionally picking on the weakest people in the crowd. I wish those four big dudes hadn't been standing in front of us , protecting the PA and stuff. They should've just taken the guy out. I wanted to do something about it, but that would have been like throwing a tennis ball at a cinderblock--the guy must have weighed about three times as much as I do. haha
