We are confirmed to open for Godsmack in Pueble CO on December 30th two more dates with them are being negotiated in Albuquerque and Denver. This is an opportunity we can't refuse. However I have this fear that we would get booed off stage for not being Godsmack. Has anyone here ever seen them live, cause I haven't, and if so was the audience receptive to the openers?

You're getting paid, right? Fuck 'em if they aren't willing to listen to you!

Hendrix got booed off stage when he opened for the Monkees, too. (true story)

Congrats!, should be a killer time! I wouldn't worry too much about Godsmack fans! It is they who should fear HBAB! Your band seems to carry with it an aura of impending tragedy and great bodily harm.

Alright!

Not a big fan of Godsmack, but you know how I feel about you youngsters. What fun this will be for y'all! Not that you need me (or anyone else) to tell you, but go fucking nuts. Put it all out there. And for good measure, snake Godsmacks deli tray and booze.

Congrats, Hit By A Bus!

Which venue in Denver? If it's the Fillmore than you guys are going to love it. They treat you right at that place. I would kill to play there again. Plus, it's the best sound system I've ever played with by far.

Will do black heh heh! From what I understand we're getting hotel rooms so we can steal the hookers and groupies too. Wink Hah like we'd be in the same hotel as them. I'd be content with a motel 6.

I don't know the Denver venue. We've played the Oriental, Walnut Room, and The Ogden Theater before. The Ogden was great, kinda like you said about the Fillmore MC, but probably too small for Godsmack. How big is the Fillmore? Too bad it isn't summer cause it would be amazing to play Red Rocks. Such a beautiful venue. I saw Muse there and call me schoolgirlish but that alone would give me fuzzies.

I think capacity at the Fillmore is like 4,000 or so. Not huge, but pretty good sized.

Aparently there is a Pueblo World Arena?! ODD Productions is puting the show together as well as the possible ones in Burque and Denver. Clear channel is fighting them cause they think they own Godsmack and any other band that gets airplay.

We used to go on the Buck and Dex show before they got all self important. Their nice guys and all but clear channel just sucks balls. Bands don't need radio any more and neither do the fans so if I am ever in my van in the morning and I suddenly get the urge hear a UFC update then I'll swith em on. But I haven't ever had one of those urges. I don't follow UFC I just watch the KOs on youtube.
