King Kong ain't got shit on me.

...in the Imperial Era, the British must have been pretty excited to peel an orange for the first time. The bright color, the refreshing zesty aroma, the tart juiciness--I'll bet they were completely intrigued. Kind of like the first time I ever ate a kiwi. I think I'll go to the store this afternoon and buy a wierd fruit I've never eaten, just to get a glimpse of what it was like to have what is now an everyday food for the first time.

I just realized that I've used this forum setting before, but decided against it because of the difficulty in responding to posts--the white font blends with the white background in the reply box. Lame. I like this color scheme. 'm gonna mess with it to see if I can tweak it.

cool. time to see how many type-o's I made *click!*

Were you successful? Jesus. I was thinking, "What forum setting?" Oh. Since I cann't type and regard the monitor at the same time, iit's disconcerting to look up to a completely blank page and see a cursor drifting slowly across the page... Jeebus.

I ended up not going to the store that day because it was so damn windy, I would've been knocked off mthe scooter! However, I went toghetto Smith's and had an informative conversation with the produce guy about water chestnuts. Apparently, they're the biggest pain in the ass to prpare--it invlves baking and steaming and peeling... So I just bought the canned ones.

(part 2)

...where would I be if I weren't in a band? I'd probably have a degree in something completely useless, like Art History or Creative Writing. Or Music Composition. hehe This in turn got me thinking about getting a business degree so I can open up my bakery/music store/book store/clothing boutique/lounge/art studio downtown. I've been eyeballing a few of the empty spaces along Central, 8th Street, 4th Street, fantasizing how cool it'd be to work for myself.

Me too, ever since I started playing downtown I've wanted my own venue...I also hate working for other people. Go self owned businesses!

Oh yeah, a venue. I've considered that too, but I don't want to deal with all the drama.
