Amazing night at the Launchpad on Thursday! We had the honor of playing with three of my favorite bands: Nunchuk, Feels Like Sunday, and Someday. It was such a good gig and man am I feeling it today (running on 4 hrs of sleep & Amp energy drink sukkah!!)

Phase 2 of California or Bust is happening in El Paso at Murphy's Cantina on Saturday the 23rd (one year anniversary of the release of Outside the Van Door). Life is so good.

We're in Sacramento now, at the Tapioca Express (free wi-fi!!). The drive from San Diego to Sacramento wasn't too bad, as we drove through LA at around midnight. The real sucky drive was the one from Phoenix to San Diego. We spent five days in SoCal, soaking up the sun and promoting our shows. It was good. Tonight is our last show before our studio time, and we are looking forward to meeting Sylvia Massey and working hard for a good recording. I'll do a more in depth "diary" of the tour once I have the time--the guys are waiting for their turn to check their email.

Laters.

We're heading home in the wee hours of the night tonight and are hoping to be back in Burque by Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. We've had a really good time up here in Weed but are homesick enough to feel good about leaving. Plus, the recording is sounding better and better by the hour. Rich Veltrop has been working with us most of the time and he's such a cool dude to work with. I'm gonna write a more entertaining entry once I get home. But for now, I'll just say it's been a killer experience and we have quite a few stories to tell (the one about Josh's arrest warrant in CA is up to him to divulge). See you soon Albuquerque!!!
