Here's my top 10 most epic rock songs of all time:

1. Stairway to Heaven
2. Bohemian Rhapsody
3. Freebird
4. The Wall Pt.1, 2, & 3
5. For Whom the Bell Tolls
6. A Day in the Life
7. Hotel California
8. The Grudge
9. Pride (In the Name of Love)
10. Tonight, Tonight

Numbers 7-10 are negotiable, but the previous seven I think are set in stone.

That's a good list. I'm not a big fan of epic songs in general though. ...maybe Death Valley '69 by Sonic Youth. That song does it to me everytime. I love the Sonic Youth thing of building, building, building, exploding, crashing, settling, and rebuilding.

I'm not too big on the Stones. Plus, I think they would better qualify for the Top Ten Most Groovin' Rock Songs of all time..list. The key word here is EPIC, however, I am quite ignorant of the Rolling Stones' repetoire.
