We have 3 members that are Christians 2 that are agnostic and one of them is a former christian. I do sometimes write lyrics about my spiritual struggles but never blatantly. We have been on "christian" tours and have played shows at churches but we are always straight forward about our "3/5 ratio". It actually is a very good filter for who we want to be associated with because only a church body that is open minded and interested in being a comfortable place for people from all walks of life will bring us in to do a show. Because of this I have met people that are an inspiration to me because of the way they show unbiased love for all people regardless of race, class, or lifestyle. If there is one thing I could change about my religion it is that I wish the church hadn't earned itself the reputation of condeming people for sin. Real Christians love people for who they are, expand on, and encourage each individuals strengths. When you help someone feed their strengths then their weakneses have a way of just being unraveled on their own.

Also I do not take it upon myself to decide that other religions are wrong. I am completely open to the possibility that the intelligent designer of our universe would reach different cultures in different ways. In that respect I am like an agnostic. I do follow judaeo-christian tradition but I cannot condem any others. It doesn't seem right to do that.

Are we a Christian band? I'd say its up to you to decide. Much like the churches we do or don't play. Also of corse if you have any questions about what I believe, feel free to ask. I'm always willing to talk about what has helped me to be very content.

Extremely well put, imo.

You guys are impressive. I remember watching you play in High School way back in the day, and at that point you had already sorta been labeled as "Christian" (maybe you guys agreed?) Razz. And I remember the sound seemed to be an interesting fusion of pop, synth like techno, maybe some punk, and rock. But what impresses me is that you guys are still jamming, and the sound has evolved immensely. I caught one of your songs on the Edge some morning a few months ago and it blew me away, haha. Hope to catch a show soon, probably down at Bleeding Ears. But anyway, there's my ramble in response to your post haha. Have a good one, y'all!
