Isaac has announced that he's calling it quits with the Foxx. He is certainly one of the most talented musicians in albuquerque and it's a shame to see him go. We are all very understanding of his reasons and his decision to move away from playing live music and just doing more recording-based projects. We'll miss him!

He'll be playing out the rest of the shows we have booked and doing some recording with us for our next album. Then he's done with the Foxx!
I believe the last show with him will be January 28th with Black maria and the Witnesses (ex-rondelles, ex-mooney suzuki members from NYC).

In the meantime here's the list of the last shows he'll be doing.

The Foxx will continue onwards without him. We'll be taking a few months off to write a new set of material, record and take care of business.

Waaaaaah... my musical heart is broken, but nonetheless - I will attend all these shows possible. Definitely finish the next album, please I beg of thee.

Well, best of luck to you, Issac. You will be sorely missed on stage by all of us. I'd also like to thank you for your absolute support of our band, since the beginning. I remember hanging out at Andrew Transmission's after one of our first gigs. I had not "officially" met you, yet you wasted no time in telling us what you thought of our band and the sound we were going after. I have to admit that I was taken by suprise by your enthuseism. I mean there you are, a good looking, hip cat in one of the top bands in town. And there you were, giving us mad props and encouragment. You totally "got" us from the start. I can only think of a couple of our gigs that you weren't at. So fucking cool bro.....

So on behalf of all of us, thank you Isaac. You are a man of intellegence and taste. Again, best to you in all your future endevours.

So what's The Foxx going to do now?

Move forward. Isaac plays the rest of the shows through january. In the meantime, myself, juliet and ryan willl be getting together to write a new set and find our ground again.
I'm moving to backup vocals and will be actively writing a little bit more. Juliet will be doing vocals for everything.

We may or may not audition another guitar player after we know where we want to go with the band. That's still up in the air. it just depends on how we sound with the 3 of us.

Also, we'll be recording another album in the new year. Isaac will be playing on everything he wrote. He's agreed to record with us indefinitely.

I'm sure you all will be alright; you're too good not to.
The only thing I'm worried about is the old songs. It's very cool to have Isaac recording, but will you play pre-Isaac-leaving songs live ever again? Those songs can't just go away!

Well...I know Isaac doesn't care if we play them or not. So that's not an issue if we choose to. It's possible alot of the old stuff will slowly go away though. Unfortunately, alot of those songs revolve around Isaac's face-melting leads. Unfortunately, we all suck way too much to even begin to try and reproduce them. I think we'll try to modify a few so we can keep them but the majority of them will most likely disappear.

Sad but true!
That's why people have a few opportunities to still catch the old stuff.

Hey this sounds good... we will definitely miss you Isacc, and it doesn't mean you can't always go back and regroup - the chemistry is so naturally sweet! Yr so close...

Ha! Yes, I am still trying to put my face back on from those rockin' solos, but it slips away and melts right off every time I listen to "Instrument" again and again...

One more go: DON'T LEAVE, just take a break and come back when your heart fills better about things again, or whatever the case.

I left a band once, and regret doing so... we had a blast together. I left for recording interests too, when I should have just done both - I guess that's why I am writing this - perhaps Isacc's situation is a whole other deck of cards.
