the new mexico showcase. So get there early.

so how did your guest 'opener' for the showcase go? we opened at the atomic.... seemed to get a good response.. are you gong to participate in the showcase next year, if there is one?

Guest opening slot SUCKED. I didn't realize they were gonna make us go on at 8:30pm when I said yes. In the past the guests have always went somewhere in the middle of the show.

So we played to all our usual friends but not much else. No biggie.

We may or may not participate in the showcase. It's not that big of a deal to me to be honest. Stepridge is great and all but we just recorded with Alex and I haven't heard the finished result but the rest of the band said it turned out amazing.

Plus, there's the whole competition thing. I can honestly say the bands that won this year were pretty disappointing. I saw many a band that I thought deserved to win over who actually did. I guess i'm not a record executive though
