What we need to make you buttons or magnets:

-your design, as an e-mail attachment to iheartmachine@hotmail.com, on disk or on paper
-tell us how many you want.
-tell us the size
-tell us: pin or magnet?
-any deadlines?
-mail, hand delivery, or pickup? (Mail will be an additional cost, hand delivery subject to availability).
-any URL or contact info you might wanted printed around the outer rim (optional).
-pay us

ART REQUIREMENTS:
electronic: slightly larger than print size at 600dpi, or as close as you can get to that. BIG.
On paper: 3 inch to 8 inch.
MAKE SURE EVERYTHING YOU WANT TO BE ABLE TO SEE FITS IN A CIRCLE.
ANY FORMAT WILL WORK. I prefer .jpg or .psd, but can and have taken word documents, pdf, gif, bmp, tiff, napkins with doodles on them, etc, etc.

TIPS ON GOOD DESIGNING:
-It is always better to work bigger.
-Again: Make sure it is a circle!
-Keep the content in the center.
-Leave a large margin or bleed around the edge.
-Keep it simple if you want it to be legible.
-High contrast is good.
-Iconic is good. Busy is bad.
-Remember that your monitor is backlit, paper is not. Brighten it up a bit, make it "pop."
-Print it yourself at the right size to see if it works. Now imagine it pressed under mylar and stuck to a possibly moving object.
-If using a photo-editing computer program, send the file format that still has layers and even send the font to get the best look.
