4 more reissues on the horizon.

First off, the Wind "Where it's at with the wind" LP will be out in about 2 weeks. You can pick it up off of http://www.vinylcountdownrecords.com or just come bug me at a show or wherever you bump into me.

Following that I have the following coming up:
Sgt. Arms LP - Another powerpop reissue but technically this was never released. They were a pop band from Kentucky in the early 80s. Had 1 single "Walkin on the roof/caught in traffic" and never released anything else. This is really great powerpop ala elvis costello, the cars, cheap trick.

Hector 2x45 - A double 45 reissue housed in a gatefold sleeve of Hector's 2 and only singles. These things are hard as hell to find and have recently been comped on some of the junkshop glam cds coming out. Anyways, a wonderful british 70s glam act on the harder side of things ala Slade.

Both of those will be out in August. And finally I'm totally thrilled to announce a reissue of one of my favorite punk albums of all time:
Black Randy "pass the dust I think I'm bowie" 2xlp. These guys were one of the first punk bands in LA and black randy himself helped found Dangerhouse records. This is the only full length dangerhouse ever put out. The first record will be a replica of the original album and the second will be all unreleased songs, some phone calls black randy did, some live material and anything else we deem worthy coming from the vaults. This should be out in september.

So that's that...
Vinyl Countdown lives!!!
