Do the Zombie!

Posted
I had a great time -- I think the rain really kept a lot of the assholes at home, and it was much easier to just go and participate in the music.

Fucking fantastic job to all the musicians that played! I feel like a lot of bands really stepped it up last night and put on some of their best shows. Awesome.

Thanks to everyone that came out!

Great goddam night.
I thought it was gonna suck because of the rain, I was really sick, we had played three shows in the past week, but we ended up still having a really big crowd.
At 8:30 Burt's was at fire code! you could have sworn it was a normal midnight slot. Really fun, enthusiastic crowd. It got us all pumped up and I thought we rocked.

Now I'm much more sick. I feel like i'M GOING TO DIE.

Take comfort, Levi -- you ate from the choco-spice pumpkin Bread of Life. You can't die now.

If you told me it worked that way at first, I wouldn't have resisted.
So, you know, thanks for the immortality?

Thera-Flu is the greatest drug known to man.Mix that with a couple shots of Grampa's cough medicine (cheap whisky) and i was totally set. I think I actually sounded better than a normal night... right now I'm 102 degrees and my throat is bleeding, but last night rocked!

Hell, we played at 7:00 at the Atomic and it was as good a show as you could ever ask for. What a great crowd, manic and impossibly kind.

Thanks to everyone that came out. Best Crawl ever.

And to the young lady running sound . . . thanks for all the hard work. You were a real treat.

What Would Hüsker Dü?

I saw RGTH, Old Man Shattered, and the Dirty Novels that night. Each band sounded good and had big crowds there to see them. The GW was full up for our set as far as I could tell. Man, I love the crawls.

Wow. You guys are sooooo popular. Nice to hear that you did well with the metal set. I wouldn't brag about it.

I don't know if this was true at all clubs, but I was forced to purchase water. All I wanted was a cup with a little h2o in its cool refreshing form. Instead, I had to buy two bottles after getting raped for the beer. And one of the bottles was for one of the guys in the band. Is there really a reason for this or is this club just sticking it to its patrons?

I think I had a great time...I can't even remember what songs we played, or how I played them, or for that matter, how we got home. Maybe, somehow I'm still at the Crawl...
