Has anyone been contacted about playing Spring Crawl yet?

Yes. But sadly, Noelan has to work that night. The downside being that we are playing an 8pm slot. The upside being that we know really early, we probably don't have to compete with our favorites... and of course the money, the rock, etc. (Our slot moves back by an hour each Crawl... at this rate we have maybe two left? Not that we are turning it down or anything! It's nice just to be nominated and all. And who knows? We could get lucky and he could get fired)

Anyway, looking forward to the name calling, paranoid accusations, and bitter dismissals of previous Crawl threads, and glad that I can get in on the ground floor!
(I'm still waiting for a kissy face graemlin, so picture that one as a frech-kiss one)

We (T.A.B.) would LOVE/kill to play this event though. sounds like great fun.

People that run the venues downtown make a list of bands that they'd like to have for the crawl. This list is reviewed by Joe Anderson and a few others, and they put together a crawl schedule. You need to have a draw and be noticed in the downtown scene, basically. Don't fret if you haven't been notified yet, a lot of times bands don't know until a few weeks before and the crawl is a few months away.

If I remember right we were contacted a month or so ago. Should be our first show with the "new" lineup....
It was just an initial "can you play?" email though. No venue, timeslot or any other information like that yet.

Hey, what is the date on this again? It got moved from the 22 to the 29 of April, right?

i know the lineup for burt's but i ain't saying nuthin' yet! surprise surprise, black maria is playing at burt's at 10PM.

If we don't get chosen, it will be the 4th crawl that we haven't played. Don't get me wrong, we want in, but we were tinking it would be funny too see how many crawls go by, if we ever get to play it. As you can tell, we're not overly concerned.

Yeah Levi -- April 29 is the correct night.

Ya I've only seen you once and it was at the last fall crawl i think and i wanted to see more but heard of nothing.

We will be playing out more but no more than once a month if that. You have to understand when you have been playing for 10 years you need a break from the scene once in a while.

Who knows maybe we won't get a spot this year.
