I'm about a week from being finished with the website for I Heart Machine. I still have to optimize the pictures, maybe change some prices and get more content in...
Anyway, you know how these things are. There are all kinda glitches and stuff you missed. Would you check it out and tell me if you notice any mistakes or anything? Let me know if it's all clear and makes sense, how it looks on your system, blah blah blah, or if it just sucks before I go and advertise it and make an ass out of myself. Let me know what I'm doing wrong and I'll give you... some buttons or something?

Oh- and order stuff from me!

I checked it out and the only thing i have is your picture under "packages" is really blurry and makes it seem like that's the quality of product you offer. Other than that i dig your site.

Thanks. Yeah, I have a crappy camera and an unsteady hand. A lot of the pics are sized for a bigger site and need to be formatted/optimzed for the space. I'll have all the pics fixed in a week. I really need some good pictures of the actual products, because they are good.
Especially the buttons, as good or better than any I've ever seen. I haven't figured out the paper part of the package thing yet though. If anyone has any ideas...
Any bands who got shirts will get pictures and extra links on the site if they take a picture of someone (hopefully a hot girl) wearing one of those shirts!

It's all in the shirt section.
I'm afraid prices are the same no matter how hot the groupies are, but I'll make the pictures and links I put up larger depending on how hot the shirt wearer is.

Awesome, thanks!
I've put just a shitload of work into this thing over the last few days, and I'll be pushing it all pretty hard once it's done.

That site is actually really easy to get around. Especially for someone like myself who's not real adept at figuring out how a lot of sites navigate. It's straightforward, easy to read and understand. Even I could order from there and get it right. (some sites seem to be overboard on flashing shit and "cleverly" disguised buttons/link dealy-os) The color scheme is easy to look at. Plus by including certain attracive, local models, you have sucked up to both our lovely, beloved moderator/SquawkJockey and the Alibi. Pure genius.

One question though. Why does a second screen appear when I click on the 'entrance'?

Yeah, I wanted to keep it really simple and let the content do the talking. I hate overdesigned sites. Plus, there's just so damn much content- any other shit on there would just be too much.

The second window is because I really want to get it to look the same on different settings. It's just easier to do it as a simple pop-up from the splash page. The idea is that the pop-up proportions will stay the same no matter what the monitor and stuff is at. I can keep the picture size down without worrying about where the borders are or dead space or anything. It's hard to have control over stuff on the web when everyone has different monitors, most of them set all fucked up, and different connections, etc. It's one reason I don't do more web sites: my OCD just goes into overdrive. I need more control, like going into everyone's house and setting their monitor- I know people with so many task bars that about 40% of the browser window is bars and buttons. What's up with that?

I still need to test it in non-ie browsers... I don't have a mac, so I'm interested in seeing how it looks. Though only a few people a day visit it with anything besides ie, so I don't care that much. I just go with statistical majorities when I have to make a choice on that kinda stuff. I need to fix some of the text so that it all looks good no matter what the text size is set at too. I got most of it, but there's always some little something that I slipped on. Fucking pages of redundant code. And I still need more pictures. My camera has this crazy delay and I can't keep my hand still enough to get a non-blurry picture. I need to rewrite a lot of the text too: I'm not much of a salesman-I ramble too much. I know that's hard to believe...

New poster by iheartmachine! The Gracchi got an 11x17 in color and in color separations for shorty to print, an 8x10 in color and in black and white, and a page of four 4x5 handouts in black and white. We also di the images for their 7 inch, the sleeve and the label.

It will be a damn good show too.
