As you may have noticed, I put color and shit in our forum. Still trying to work out the kinks, but it's pretty cool.
If any other band need help or tips with this, let me know. Moderators need to have the permissions turned on by the powers that be first... I'm the guy on the right hand side of the group shot. |

I have a question: there is the option to turn on HTML in the threads, right? There's a little check box; would this mess everything up? I figure there's a reason it's turned off to start with, and I don't want to make it crash my page or get all slow and clunky. |

I believe that checkbox allows posters to put HTML formatting into the message. I believe there is no real reason to have it on since bolding, italics, URL and email links can be made thru the system.
Your page looks cool! Hey, you should share your CSS that you used to make this happen. I think you may have to put it in comment tags in order for it to show, but I'm not sure. like <!-- blah --> |

Yeah, I'm not going to turn on my HTML for the threads, because it would turn stuff like this into content. I just do enough of it that it happens automatically, especially for italics and bold, you know... I just keep throwing them in and pissing myself off.
Here's what I put. It's kind of sloppy, 'cause I just copied and pasted from our Myspace page and then stripped and ditched 60% of it. (Myspace is a real bitch, because you have to override about 50 different things). so some of it is redundant or does nothing most likely. I didn't do much except background color, the cursor and the scrollbar. Threw in a pic and two links. I tried to color the links, but some links have different names maybe? I don't know.
