Well:
We recorded four songs with Leonard for a split with The Roxiehearts. Sadly, they (Roxies) are M.I.A. You can hear our songs, cheaply mono-remixed and horribly compressed (by me) on our site.crappy home recordings You can see a rough draft of the cover for the-split-that-never-was on our site too, someplace. The Roxies sounded great man. I should ask for a copy of their songs...

We recorded six songs live for the Rocksquawk "Rattled And Numb" show. We are sitting on them right now in case somebody from that show decides to do something with them. If nothing comes up, we'll put those up on the web site as well. At least four of them are good.

We had some equipment problems that took some time/money to figure out. Rexx got a new cabinet and head and well...everything and we're ready to go now.

The plan: We will be recording with Quincy next month (Nov) sometime. The recording, mixing, etc. will be assisted by Harry of Unit 7 Drain fame. We have the money, the time is set aside. Looking to do 10 songs; playing those songs until we hate them. That's the plan anyway. Things always seem to come up... you know how it is. After that, we need to come up with some more money to buy a new PA. The two we have are completely eclipsed by the new equipment (which is why the singing is still the weakest part of the set). Then we plan to record again, for the spring or something. Anybody volunteering to record us?

Bottom line: We expect to have something real by January or earlier, and more by the spring. In the meantime some songs are on the site, as I said. If you really can't wait I'd burn out a cd-r of the Roxie/Rocksquawk shelved recordings to those who request. We were happy with both recordings, but I'm not holding my breath for any kind of "release" of the older shit.
Also working on new buttons, stickers, web site, shirts and new damn songs (and a couple of suprises!) most likely for the new year.

In the meantime, if anyone comes to see us it really helps.
We will be broke by the end of Nov.
Tonight and next Saturday at the ATOMIC CANTINA

Thanks, by the way. Yeah, we've really worked hard. It took us a year pretty much to live down our previous band. there are still people in town who haven't come out to see us, just because they hated the last band so much (now two years gone). Still, the majority of people at our shows are people in other bands. Which is cool, but also sucks.
