The Gracchi look HOT sporting new t-shirts desgined and printed by I HEART MACHINE which is me. Prices start at 100$ for 20 shirts. That's only 5 dollars a shirt, which is a great deal for such a small run. Two color like those start at 6 bucks a shirt, 20 minimum. I've also done shirts for The Unemploid, Tanuki, Unit 7 Drain, my band of course and other non-bands. I probably should have taken some pictures of those. Anyway, I'm just starting out still. I'm going to start making more pitches when I'm really getting rolling. I'm building a real site for it over the winter with all the details and hard sell. Oh, that reminds me: just about finished Feels Like Sunday's web site. Joining Unit 7 Drain's site, and again my band's... Buttons are still going: 20$ for 100, 90$ for 500, 175$ for 1000. Over 13,000 made so far! |

Here's some more details:
SHORT RUNS. It's a deal for 20 shirts at a time, or 40, but if you want 500 you can get them cheaper and faster somewhere else. I'm not into this to rip anyone off: I'm finding my niche. Ink colors available are: red, white, black, brown, blue, yellow and green. If you want another color add 10$ to the order (one time cost) They are screen prints, so the image must be PURELY negative/black & white. Any format is fine-I will work with you to make any changes the image might need. If it's too fucked I'll have to charge you though. You get about an hour free, and design goes for about 10$ an hour. I will only do up to two color right now- add 1$ a shirt for two color (this also goes for shirts with front and back prints). I can't get perfect alignment on two color (notice the white text on The Gracchi is different for each shirt). Only if the second color can free float over the first. I can get within an inch maybe. This goes for one color too: try to get a design that doesn't have to be PERFECTLY symmetrical. It'll look better. Shirt colors can be pretty much any size/color/brand: some are more expensive, not all colors are available in all sizes or brands. I'm thinking of doing a deal where band members can order higher quality shirts for themselves. IF YOU PROVIDE THE SHIRTS THE COST IS CUT TO 60$. And you only need to pay 40 up front. Turnaround time is two to three weeks from when I get the image and money. NOT EVERY SHIRT IS GOING TO TURN OUT THE SAME OR PERFECT. I'm getting better, but there ARE variations and just plain fuck ups. I always order a couple of extra so I don't feel guilty if I have to short you a bit. I'm willing to work with you to get you satisfied, but I am not a pro. There are plenty of shops to go to if you have the money and want a better guarantee. I will probably have to start charging a one time setup fee eventually. Just because I don't have the room to keep screens on hand forever and can't afford to redo a screen everytime I want to print it. You'll have to "rent" the screen for, say, 6 months. Customers who get in on the ground floor will catch a break on that for now, and most likey on other shit too as I figure out what I'm doing. If I give you a price up front and it turns out I need more I will let you know or eat the cost before anything happens. I don't like to charge people for things I don't know about: for example, The Unemploid got back prints for free, and I'm down for giving them the discount for being my guinea pig. Also, their shirts were cool and I'm more willing to help if it's cool. Just to emphasize that: CUSTOMERS NOW WILL GET DEALS ON FUTURE PRICE INCREASES. I also do sales a lotta times. I'm trying to work out fair prices for pacakge deals (design, shirts, buttons, web-site) More details will follow. Anyone have any questions or ideas? |

Hey Levi,
Thanks for the work. I REALLY like the way our design came out. It's also nice to know that you thought our design was cool. Hope you made an extra for yourself and you sport it on occassion. Cheers, Levi! ~Bryan of The Unemploid P.S. I'll be sending you an email eventually to order some more buttons. |

I'm glad you guys like them. I think the tank looks tough. It took me forever to get that image right (I ended up drawing part of it) but I knew it was worth it. I need to get some pics of it up here too. I'm making myself one during this run I'm on now, which should be up this weekend.
My biggest problem is lack of room: I do 20 and they cover my apartment. I could do 200 a day if I had some kind of rack, a flash dryer, a bigger place... |

Shirts....yeah, yeah, whatever. What I want to know is what's in that enormous jar/bottle, on top of the 'fridge (between the olive oil and what looks like a DeLongi oven). I have a feeling whatever is in there, that's what "makes Levi run".
????? (still the best) Hated (band in town)..... |

You guys should see what's under the bathroom sink. Had my Mom in town and she was looking for towels.
Ma: "What's in the jar?" ... Me: "Puppies. I guess I need to change the fluid. We can't keep them out with the kid around now." ... to her credit she didn't even blink an eye. It was only one puppy. And a squirrel. |
