Hey---What the hell happened to that big break from performing? You went all sappy on us, threw out those veiled threats, and basicly made us feel that RGTH was going into deep hibernation. Now this? Face it Levi, you love rock, you love playing rock and you are a gigantic gig slut. Am I wrong??

We are still taking a break.
We had to keep the shows we had already agreed to: this Friday and the 26th. Two shows is almost nothing in one month compared to 5. We got nothing in December and maybe one in January but probably nothing else until Valentine's Day-ish.
I announced the break really early, so as to slow the flood of people asking us for shows. We still have had to turn down 5 shows this month and 4 next, some of which really hurt to turn down.

If it makes you feel better, we haven't been practicing either....

Frankly if it was up to me, I'd play a show every damn day.
I DO think it is a good idea once in a while to limit supply to increase demand, and I wanted to be able to see some bands once in a while rather than always be competition with shows I would be going to.
We have a lot of songs to finish writing, and cover songs to finish learning too.

But yeah, I'm itching to play, and the lack of the band getting together is also a bummer. I DO want to rock! I'm climbing the fucking walls over here!

Hey Levi did say that if there was a show that they couldn't pass up, they would do it, so me personally i didn't think that the "break" would be that long, well at least as long as ours haha.

But hey I recommend takin your break, you always gotta at least step away for a lil bit in order to gather yourself, and be able to get that feeling back... of wanting to rock the fuck out!

BTW about the comic... wonder if marvel ever checked out a harvey comic.. cuz that logo looks very much like, hmmm i dunno, the marvel logo?

dude...another show on the same night as we're playin...I guess I'll have to try and make the 11/26 show. Of course, we'll probably get booked that night at some place on the other side of town. I'm wondering if there is some crazy voodoo shit going on with our shows coinciding. If you guys take some time off I think we may be fucked. Have a rockin show!!

I don't think we've had a show in months that you folks weren't our competition...

Anyway, the show is tonight, and there are like ten other good shows downtown (two cd releases tonight?), so there is no reason why everyone can't come down and wander in for free and buy our cd or get us a drink at some point. I'll be waiting!
