So Little Kiss had a showcase out in Austin last week end, and it was the shiznit. We had the pleasure of opening the show and had what was described as possibly our best set ever!!! And that was a description handed to us from some one who has seen plenty of them. We were followed by the Darlington Horns who with hot-rod fashion blazed through the place. It was so hot we thought the fire marshal was gonna shut us down. Next came the ever entertaining FOMA, who had a spectacular set despite the technical difficulties, which were few. Next was the ever smooth Shine Cherries, with guest Rian Martino on drums, and Johnny Cassidy tickling the ivories. Love them Shine Cherries. The night was topped off by none other than Nels Andrews and the El Paso Eye Patch. They proved, once again, that they are the REAL DEAL. Nels had the audience in the palm of his hand. All in all it was a great time. A ton of free mexican food, complete with NM green chile, and free Rio Grande Brews. You all will have to excuse me now, because I am still trying to sleep off the hang over.
