Hello Albuquerque,

I'm new to town and looking to jam.

I'd love to play jazz with bass and guitar/keys. Some Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Thelonius Monk etc....Bossa/Samba thrown in for good measure

Rock is fine - cover band great.

I can shuffle, mambo, and swing a blues -but my blues is a bit rusty.
I've done funk, mowtown, college indie, and hard rock as well. I've done a wedding band, cover bands original bands, jazz, and blues

I also teach and I'm looking for a music school to connect with. I haven't found a music school yet - anyone know of one?

All replies welcome

pocketgig@yahoo.com

Thanks,

Matt

Hey Matt, welcome to "Rocksquawk", basically this is the home for most bands here in ABQ/Santa Fe......Off the top of my head I don't know of any music schools off the top of my head that actually teach drumming, which may be good for you because your willing to teach.......

Most music stores here just have business cards of people who teach at home........

Actually I been looking for a teacher who can help me out on softening my sound...Also working on some rudiments....Interested?

E-mail me at capturedbyfire@hotmail.com
