Seasoned and Tight Guitarist and Drummer seeking Bass Player. Bass player must have strong stage presence, articulate, dynamic, committed, open-minded, flexiable and most importantly.....Truly enjoy making music!!!
Our music is high energy "Rock and Roll", almost on the edge of Hard Rock. Music has great riffs, hooks and beats. Think 60's rock meets 2000's. The music is very infectious with a great goove. No need to count measures because you'll feel the groove and know what and when to play it. We have songs completed but require that bass player to infuse his own personal style to the music. We are very flexible and will allow you to inject your own style to the music. Samples of our music will be fowarded to only those musicians we feel can play this style and most importantly feel that we can have a serious musical relationship in building this project into the best thing New Mexico and the world has seen. We have pro-musical equipment, pro-recording equipment, Monstrous sounding P.A. We expect our bass player to have pro-equipment also. We've wasted valuable time with posers here in ABQ and hope there is atleast one in ABQ willing to step up to the plate and show off his musical skills. Any serious takers please contact Rudy at zia_cowboy@yahoo.com Peace Out! |

I like your posting! I'm confident that I have what you are looking for. I've been playing music since I've been about twelve (I'm twenty-nine now), and can play an array of instruments. Bass is what I enjoy most in a band. I play a 1969 Rickenbocker through a Fender BXR 200 watt amp. I have done many a recording and many a gig over the last ten years, from street corners to Sonny's to the Journal Pavilion (I was playing bass for Blues Royale, we opened for ZZ Top). I enjoy being in a band when it's fun! That's important to me. Sound interested?

disregard the post for tight group, like always, guitarist became a drunken slob who just wanted to "think" he could sing and butcher every cover song in the book. BWhite, one suggestion..............................RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I tried the young kids to jam that didn't work, tried people my age and that didn't work...........I guess anybody over 40 and is tired of the Albuquerque BS who would like to get soemthing going give me a buzz back. John |

Hey man,
A few months back my band (Spiritu) was talking to you and you said you wouldn't be right for the stuff we do, but that your little brother was gonna be moving to town and plays drums and that we should talk to him. Is he here, and if so, can you get me in touch? Let me know at meteorcity@earthlink.net |

Hey Bro, yeah we did talk a awhile back and your music is very tight and very good but like like i said I don't think my style will fit your brand of music. I'm no slouch myself but liek i said back in the day i don't wanna waste yours or my time.
As for my brother I did mention your band to him and he was very interested but at that time he was gonna move here but his band re-formed and were going intot he studio to work on an album. Funny things is I haven't heard a word from him since so I can't promise I can get him. What I'll do I'll shoot him your e-mail address and have him contact you. I did tell him you guys were very good with a very pro attitude. I'll keep in touch. John p.s. who knows maybe I'll take another listen to you guys. |
