I'm a guitarist looking for some folks to jam with. Anybody who loves Yo La Tengo, the Soft Boys, Sonic Youth, etc. just drop a line here. You don't need to be technically amazing, but a reasonable level of skill is desirable Smile

Hope you find some people, this town could use some more bands playing that style of music.

Agreed. If you run into anyone who fits the bill, please send them my way.

What are you looking for, bass, drums, guitar?

Well, mostly I just want to meet some like-minded guitar players. People who are interested in counterpoint riffs and putting away their egos. But yeah, if a full group happened, that'd be cool.

Yeah, yeah... I dig those bands. And was that a GBV line at the end? If so, I'm hope(ing) for a contact. I play guitar and bass, and I'm not opposed to the drums or keyboards. Hell, I miss the Bob Nastanovich role of jumping around and playing a minimal part. I've got another band, but we won't have to tell her. E-mail me at themusk89@yahoo.com, and though I'm also technically amazing, I don't think that sort of thing matters. Ira Kaplan is one of my favorite guitarists, BTW.
