Okay, it's that time of year again where bands seem to be having line-up changes and are looking for musicians. I've noticed the past few years that this seems to happen every year around this time. I just joined a rock cover band as a vocalist, and after one practice...one of the guitarist's quits and the other guitarist wants to pursue his other band full time. So, the bassist and drummer decided to call the whole band quits, instead of keeping the band strong and finding replacements. A buddy of mine's band just lost thier drummer. Another local band that I know of, has been looking for a singer for over a year now. I've met some pretty cool dudes with tons of talent over the years. I've also met some pretty flakey and untalented "wannabe's" over the years, as well. Every ad I look at, everyone is looking for a drummer or bassist. Wish I could help out in those departments, but I'm just a vocalist. Plus, I'm just learning to play bass. Metal is my genre. I tried other styles of music, but never really felt alive with them. Metal is my calling, and what I truly love. So, if anyone serious needs a metal vocalist, or knows of a band that does...please let me know.

It does happen ever year. I don't know how serious you are about the "metal-only" thing, but I do know of a couple dudes that are putting together a band of some sort and they're looking for a singer with that kind of metal voice.
