Show 3 of New Mexico Southwest Sounds is scheduled to air July 15, 2007 at 12:00 on KOAT-TV.

The show will feature the following performers:

Leah Black -- Jazz
The Hollis Wake -- Rock
Robbie Jude -- New Mexican Traditional
Grammy Award Winning Black Eagle -- Native American

If you are interested in auditioning in future shows:

The New Mexico Music Commission is seeking experienced musicians of all genres to audition for the television show New Mexico Southwest Sounds. The show promotes local music and tourism, and currently airs on KOAT-TV. To audition, the following is REQUIRED: 2 original songs recorded on a CD. Proof of copyrights to those songs.

To audition, please send a non-returnable CD, photograph and brief bio to NM Music Commission, P.O. Box 1450, Santa Fe, NM 87504. Material must be postmarked no later than August 15, 2007.

Musicians selected to perform will be contacted by telephone.

Yeah thats a great program, I did it last year drumming for Jenny Marlowe.....Top notch people, from the load in crew to the director!

I just got the DVD of the show I was in today actually......Pretty damn good performers on last seasons show....The Dirty Novels, Ben Martinez Project, Tobias Rene were all awesome along with the other artists.......

On a side note, Jenny whom I sessioned for won the "Miss New Mexico" pageant last month, not only is she a great singer songwriter, but a lovely lady to boot!
