Hey Guys, this is John the drummer for Ishen Tree. Well Ishen Tree will out of comission for a while, so instead of sitting around doing nuthin I figure this would be a good time to work this cover band that I been putting on hold for some time. I have a great guitarist named Rick Mendoza that also does vocals and myself on drums and vocals. But we are still in need of a bass player,keyboard player and a lead singer would be great, maybe add some horns later. I know most of you guys here are aleady in bands so I'm looking for players who are looking for a fun side project that can get put together fairly quickly. The genre of music that we are looking to play are older classic rock tunes like and not limited to are "The Stones, CCR, Johnny Rivers, Los Lobos, Foreigner, Journey, Kiss, Beatles, Kinks, ect, ect, ect....I think you get the picture....But we would like to play tunes that the other cover bands tend to pass up....We practice up in Rio Rancho so we are looking for players who live nearby so that its not a big issue in driving down seeing how gas is so outrageous. I have a nice studio to practice at that has a 16 channel board, P.A. mic's, carpeted, secure, insulated and Oh Yes....Air Conditioned....So if any of you guys wanna give it a try and wanna jam with some cool cats and play some older classic rock let me know...We got some good contacts at a few clubs and Casino's who cater to cover bands so all we need is you.....We have good gear and a better muscial attitude...So come on down and have a beer and lets jam out to some tunes and if you have some guilty pleasure cover tune your band doesn't wanna play, this might be your only chance to cover it....We normally practice saturday nights but we can schedule any night actually.
