Hi Guys-

My name is Jesse Cruz and I am a professional Guitar player of 24 years.
I am looking to start a SERIOUS band that is willing to go all the way and be the BEST on the local scene. I need a Bass player and drummer to start. You must have own equipment and transportation. Must be totally SERIOUS and have the talent to go with it. I have connections that can take us pretty far.
Again, I am only looking for those willing to be the BEST and kick butt on stage.
I have 24 years experience playing and been in several bands and have done studio work mostly.
If you have what it takes, please email me and let me know when I can come by and listen or just send me an MP3 of your playing.
Also, you don't need to have certain look, but you have to be at least 18 years old and have talent and a will to show your stuff! No offense to younger musicians, but you have to be able to play in clubs.
You should have a decent drum set or bass and amp to play a sizeable venue and to practice.
You don't need a Neil Peart drum set or a Bass stack, but enough power behind you to do some damage!

Obviously you misunderstood my post.
I never meant to say that anyone under 18 can't play. I said I need people 18 and over. This is what I am looking for. You need to get over yourself and stop judging me. Who ever said no one my age can keep up with me? I'm sure there are those who can.
This post is to try and find what I am looking for, not some kind of personal portfolio.
This is the whole reason why I didnt name the bands I was in. Get it??
There are certain people I am looking for to start a project, based on experience.
If people want to know more about my background they can email me and ask me personally.
I am not here to broadcast myself and show how good I am or not. I am posting this to find a certain type of musician. This ok with you?

Obviously I did misunderstand your post, and you went back to edit it to clarify. Pre-edit, it clearly stated you were looking for 18-21 yr old players. Implying no-one older or younger need apply. As I said, I wasn't trying to start a flame war, but that's the vibe I got from your unedited post. Thanks for the update.

Here's a suggestion for you Jcruz; why don't you put a link of some things you've done, so the people that may be interested can hear the kind of music that you are able to play. I for one have found out the hard way that it's really not worth it to go jam with anybody (even if they say they have 24 or 10 or whatever years of experiance) unless I hear work they've done and it jives with me.
