hmmm a Comedian how nice, so i am assuming you were insulted as well ehhh, so what grow up join the real world
Naw, not insulted, just amused by your little diatribe (or "ad" as you call it). And it does really seem like you're playing with yourself to me - you need keys, gits, and bass. With an attitude like yours, however, you seem likely to get more wise-assed comments like mine rather than responses to the "ad."

Damn, I know you're pissed and everything, but isn't that a bit of a generalization?

We actually had great luck with bass player responses and ended up with a level headed extremely talented dude. After reading Squawk chatter and these threads for awhile I think the key is to- A, Have great original music and even better players. B, Don't take yourself or the scene too seriously. C, Have a sense of humor. Networking at local venues and going to Open Mic nites is also a good way to find players. There are fantastic players of all genres in this town and attitude is more important than chops tho a combo of both is best.
Good luck, be patient, you'll find your guy when the cosmos lines up correctly.
