Well, last time I saw Thunda, he was curled up nude in a corner covered with dayglo bodypaint, drooling on himself. Motherfucker tried to bite me when I approached him, too!
Later he apologized and explained that he had thought I was a cinnamon roll, but still, I'd call that a small problem, at least.

And I don't understand why people take message boards so seriosly. From what I read, it looks like Thunda is the brunt of the joke--from people he knows personally. Here's the thing, Rich, a lot of people here on Rocksquawk, especially the "regulars," know each other personally. Most, in fact, are drinking buddies or have been in each others' bands in the past, or just generally appreciate each other. So when there's a parlay like this exemplary one here, it's not necessarily about trashcanning the freshman, as it were (unless the freshman deserves it, ie. Camaro Matt, who despite his tenure on these boards is still a retard).
Plus, if you read his post, he was asking for more details about the band, in his usual smartass fashion. But let's not get worked up about it. Sr. Fuckoff can just respond by elaborating on the type of bassist he is looking for and who knows maybe we'll see a union of musicians here. Call me a simpleton, but one of my favorite parts of Rocksquawk is seeing projects formed on a message board. Hell, that's how we found Nate.
gio, I'm not Rich. I think he finally gave up on this board. And I appreciate the tone of your post. A couple of things in response. I actually respect the musicianship of several of the posters above. Especially Dr. T. And I recognized what he was getting at but he is already in a band. And to be honest I only posted here looking for the non regulars who check out this site. I thought I was good natured in my response to Doc and hoped that would be enough. But then his drinking buddies had to chime in. I just get a little sick of people who hijack other peoples threads for their own amusement. My reaction may have been a bit harsh but I've seen it done here before and like I said I'm sick of it. Just because I (or other noobs) am not a part of the squawk establishment, this shouldn't give license to those who are to ruin others threads.
Hey friend, I realize you're not Rich and I addressed my post to him because he was the one that took major offense. I respect your desire for a stick-to-business thread, but I don't think it's as irritating as some people make it out to be when other people post stupid quips. You just ignore it and move on. Or make friends and joke along. When in Rome, yeah? No harm done. I hope you find the musicians you're looking for.
Seriously, Mr. FUCKOFF, I'm pretty sure everyone who posted on this thread wants you to find what you're looking for if only because we need other heavy bands to jam with. No one is trying to ruin your thread, and honestly I didn't see one ounce of mean-spiritedness on this thread. You're one of the newer folks and it sounded to me like the folks here are just trying to get a few laughs, especially from you. Don't take nothin' on RS personally. You'll get to know everyone and the different personalities, but there's very few true assholes here. No hard feelings, eh bro? Besides, this thread is getting you and your quest for musicians a lot of exposure!

Still looking for a bassist. And we do have a sense of humor. Sorry if I came off a little stiff in the exchanges above and sorry if I really hurt anyone's feelings. Which I doubt, big boys all. But we are serious about getting our project back on track. Metal not Death, not NU, and hopefully not played out. Gear, talent, and commitment are the main requirements. And not necessarily in that order. The rest we can go over if you are interested.
