...for mellow-ish cross-genre project. I'm experienced, have decent gear and can read music, write my own parts, and I have my own rehearsal space and a project studio (nothing really fancy, but I can record a decent demo). I'm not looking to join a metal/punk/hard rock band, or anything with the suffix "-core", and I'm not particularly interested in gigging every night at the same bars in town. Other than that, I'm pretty open-minded.
Hi, although I am mostly into metal, I am steeping out of that realm and am actually getting more into the softer side of rock. I'm now more into alternative rock, and listen to bands such as Nickelback. What kind of style exactly are you looking for? I'm a vocalist and lyricist, and I have a wide vocal range and am open to anything, as long as it has emotion and meaning. If interested, please let me know. Thanks.

Errr...I guess if you had to categorize what I'd like to do, it'd be more of a "post-rock" thing (been listening to a lot of Stereolab and Buffalo Daughter lately) with some electronics thrown in, possibly some weird folky-type songs like Mutations/Sea Change-era Beck. But I'd hate to put limitations on this before it even gets started.
Sounds cool, Chris! I'd love to do a project along those lines. Time is my biggest constraint right now though. I wish I could...I hope you find something.
Hi Chris, Please check out our low budget professional touring act at www.fastheartmart.com www.myspace.com/fastheartmart and at www.sonicbids.com/FastHeartMart. We tour 9 months out of the year, so we definitely are not in the same old bars around town... in fact, bars around town are the exception. We are more likely to play the streets of Austin, LA, Denver or Seattle. We make aliving, but the songs deserve a bass line. We would probably make an even better living with a nice bass player. Please contact us at: auditions@fastheartmart.com Thanks! ~Roblyn Crawford (drum)
