Bassists...these guys are good. I went and jammed with them and had a blast. But, alas, have another project and can't devote the proper time.
If you're asking yourself, gee I don't know, do these guys have pro gear, chops, melodic sense, can they jam, can they improvise, play with taste, the answer is a big, fat YES.

I was gonna give them a call but I have a sneaking suspicion that I don't have the chops to keep up with them.
Joe, These are the nicest, most laid back, ego-less guys. You should at least go jam with them and see what happens.
I didn't even bring any gear. Rich has tons of great stuff and was cool enough to let me use his Kubicki and SVT. Not an Ex-factor, but a real Phillip Kubicki.
Taste and groove trump chops every day of the week.

Rich, I passed your CD along to Joe (Captain Simian) when I was in the shop today. He was asking what kind of music you guys were playing, and I was like well...and realized it's hard to describe.
So I just gave him that disc from your old band and said this will give you some idea.
Also, check your email. John
