"Ishen Tree" is currently auditioning for a new bassist. Our current bassist has moved out out of town. "Ishen Tree" plays a mix of Rock/Reggae/Pop/Punk/Alt music, kinda like "Sublime" but more diverse. Last year was a big year for us, we have headlined a few gigs, played Music Festivals, been on T.V. and have our music played on KUNM Radio. We have a few clubs clammering for us to get back together so we can start playing live again on stage......We are in our mid 30's and we are looking for a player with decent equipment, transportation and a open mind. We have a clear vison and direction of our music. We practice atleast once a week either in Rio Rancho or Santa Fe so be willing to make that drive. You can take a listen to our music at http://www.myspace.com/ishentree
You can contact Joe at kodiakjohnson@yahoo.com or John at capturedbyfire@hotmail.com
If you have a music link or a playable download please feel free to send that to us.

Peace and hope to hear from somebody soon.

Cuzin' Joe and John-"El Animal"

Hola mi amigos,
Que-pasa?
Corn Dawg had to split to Az and work some more. He wasn't sure when he would be back and said to continue on with the band. So rather than sit at home and wait, we decided to look for another bassist. My dream bass player would be Eric Wilson (Sublime) or P-Nut (311). These guys can play them reggae vibes but also rock out hard. Our music varies from reggae, punk, and hard rock. So think of playing a nice Bob Marley song and then throwing the Misfits right after. Thats us, thats Ishen Tree. I want to play it all, plus who really wants to be limited in any band anyways and have the same ole sound for every song. To me, thats fucking boring. We will welcome new influences, I'm 31, my drummer is 37, we still love the hard shit but also can play them nice reaggae tunes. So if you're interested, don't be scarred, come out and jam and we'll see what happens. We are very laid back but are focused and driven. Replay here or shoot us an e-mail at kodiakjohnson@yahoo.com . Demos available at http://www.myspace.com/ishentree . We have heavier songs that need to be recorded, these are demos of our reggae/ska side on myspace.
Pees, 1-nub.

I GUESS THAT BIG DARK HOLE THAT IS ALBUQUERQUE HAS SWALLOWED UP ALL THE GOOD BASS PLAYERS.......SHIT, I'LL EVEN SETTLE FOR A BASS PLAYER WITH TWO FINGERS ON EACH HAND, ONE EYE, A HUMP, NO KNEE CAPS, WEB FEET AND THREE STRINGS ON HIS BASS!
