This is not going to happen until mid May or so, but I'd like to start testing the waters. I want to start a new project along the lines of Superchunk, Sebadoh, Yo La Tengo, Pavement, Dinosaur Jr. I guess sort of 90s indie-rock feel. Nothing too pretentious, just good rock. This will be low key; I have no aspirations of stardom. I just want to play good music. Looking for bass, guitar, etc. I can sing, maybe you can too? Email me at giranimals@yahoo.com if interested.
I don't know if this would be up your alley but it is worth a shot. We are looking for a drummer to complete our 4 piece line up. If you write and have music to contribute that would be a plus also but not a must. We like many ideas flowing. Anyways check out some of our originals. Since we do not have a drummer we recorded this all at home with a drum sequencer and software. We are looking for a drummer to actually write something for these songs. I do not think what we programmed is humanly possible to play so we need a human element to it all. Let me know what you think. We all have extensive playing and gigging under our belts and would like someone professional to work with. Reply to this if you are interested may be we could all get together sometime. Yeah, still a non-drinker, but I just bogart the drink tickets and have a huge pile of them at home And this is going to be the most pro gear, bro down, pro chops band of all time.
Read every bad want ad for a bands on here and on craigslist. Dudes have always got to put in something along the lines of "must have pro gear and pro attitude..." And they're serious. For example, read this craigslist post: pro gear. I placed that ad, by the way...no I didn't.
