This is the first beer I drank at SXSW.
As the Texans next to me said when I choose Miller Light over whatever other light, draft, domestic, crap beer was on tap: It's piss water. Um ... free piss water.
The major annoyance was in the fact that the lady at the bar could only accept in-state (Texas) IDs. WTF, mate? How many people from out of state are attending SXSW. Um ... a frickin' lot! Good thing Mr. Ballpoint is a Texan (he may deny it) and he just asked for two beers and handed one over to me ... in front of the bartender ... at her suggestion. What are laws for anyway?
Take that, The Man!

Not that there's anything wrong with this state*, but I am NOT A FUCKING TEXAN. I may have the driver's license, voter's reg, etc... but I'm from the Rockies, damnit.

Free beer galore!! Free mimosas the next morning (ie noon)!! Free food!! Free Mountain Dew from cute chicks in tiny shorts on the street!!
