Here's to a lesson learned. Always, always, always double check the panel schedule before setting out for the day. They do change times and venues at a whim ... and I missed an interview with Tom Anderson--everyone's first friend.
If I had been there, here are the three things he likely said:
"MySpace is there to connect people--to unite, not divide."
"I think MySpace makes music better. In fact, music sucked before MySpace."
"MySpace is the only reason anyone listens to your band. And your band. And for sure your band."
Then, he grabbed his wad of cash and ran out the door cackling.
Dang, Tom is cool. I'm glad he's my friend.

I just laughed hot afternoon coffee out my nose. Thanks. We are no longer friends.
