As an accused damned white racist and a nazi as well, I am surprised that this never came up. It was run, to much shock, criticism, and acclaim during the BET Awards, as I recall. Also, see this.

Man, people give race too much weight. Race and lists. I think the most positive thread of the year was the whole "Are You Drunk" thing. Talk about people getting together for a common cause.

Thanks, The Musk, for a great post. Very well articulated on all points, and the spelling and punctuation are, as far as I saw, were beyond contempt.

Anytime! I'm in the process of reorganizing all my music on a new terabyte drive (happy new year, n8!), but send me a message and we can get together for a beer and some file transfer.

You probably don't. I just moved to town in June and don't make it out to as many shows as I'd like because I have a new baby boy.

A band we've played with called Lions recently released a great record and they really seem like they're on the up and up. They just had a song on guitar hero III. They're a great live band. They'll be in town at Launchpad on Feb 27th. Check it out!

I don't like it quite as much as Gypsum Strings, but they are such a fantastic band.

If you can't wait two weeks for the Black Mountain album, I can hook you up. I didn't think it was possible to improve on their debut, but it... it's so amazingly face melting good. I'm going to just say it's the number one album of 2008 right now. In January. It's that fantastic.

You haven't heard our version of The Carpenters "Superstar" done to a slow hip-hop groove... I'm playing a Roland 808 emulator on that track.

It's........well, different that's for sure!

It isn't very good though... Some of there other stuff is good but that GH III song blows.
