Boiling noodles? Is that code for something possibly scandalous?

Yeah pray tell, what song is it? I love me that Radiohead, so I'd love to know.

I was kinda hoping you'd just deleted Radiohead from existence. Your machine maybe was a time machine, and you were strangling them as babies... nah, I'm joking... a little. 15%.

Creep... yeah, what would Prince cover at Coachella? What a topsy-turvey world this would be.

Actually, according to my iTunes, I like 16 Radiohead songs. And even though I think 8 to 10 of those are just to help me get to sleep, time-traveling to murder Radiohead-babies might have been a bit strong.

Time traveling to murder ANY babies is a bit strong...unless that baby turns out to be the leader of the human resistance against the now cyborg dominated world and you're planning to be the future govenor of California...then its ok.

My bad, I don't know why I missed this. I love Hail To The Thief! I love "I Will"! It reminds me of La Llorona. heh. I guess I dig songs that make me feel like I'm in a David Lynch-style nightmare. I can almost smell that horse fetus.

i follow you conceptually, but that song doesnt take me there. la llorona is an infinitely better song to me.

i am biased tho, i know i do not like that singer's voice. his falsetto thing... forks in my eyes. some radiohead i like, tho i dont know which ones. i am usually surprised when they roll thru the playlist, "oh, this one doesnt annoy me!!" i might have liked 'i will' if the vocals noises were not actual words. but now it's gone.

Mostly agreed, but: check out the duet, "This Mess We're In," by PJ Harvey with that guy. Their voices sound so great together; his wavering falsetto floating over her grounded dullness fills in all the blank spots in both- it makes either sound better than I'd ever heard them.

I like the bends alot. OK computer is interesting. But I just can't relate to the new stuff. I'd say they probably could win an award for the most depressing band ever. Or perhaps the "Band who's music the most people have killed themselves to" award in the Guinnes book of world records. I got really angry when I saw them live on a BBC special and Thom York kept rocking his head side to side in a overdone musical trance sort of thing. He looked like he suffered from otism only the motion was the wrong way. I think the reason I got mad was because of the camra guy. He zoomed in so close on Thom all you could see was his eyes and nose which made the motion look very violent and I don't care much for that guy's face. I actually wanted to see the band members and the cool lights. Instead I get the ugly mug of a otistic gen-x brit-hippy. It completely distracted from the mood of the song which was really sad. Over all I like radiohead. They can be quite annoying though.

I like pretentious rock.
In fact, Pablo Honey and The Bends are my least favorite radiohead albums. My favorites are Amnesiac and Kid A, followed by OK Computer, Hail to the Thief and In Rainbows.

The two bands I listen to the most, by a LOT, are the Beatles and Radiohead.

Rich here (the nice Rich - Troll Rich is DEAD - long live the nice Rich!) just wanted to say I feel the same way about "pretentious rock" when it comes to Radiohead. I love Amnesiac and Kid A. I don't care how derivative they are. They're enormously creative. "Pyramid Song" may be their best song ever. Those hesitant, aching piano lines. Possibly the best, most mystical song ever about death. I must say it compares favorably to my recent near death experience more than any other song I've ever heard, at least. Right up there with "Imagine."
