Anyone know where to get descent drum cases for a good price? Not soft ones by the way, and not skb's.

I'm really not to partial to grandmas, and guitar center only carries skb, and those shity soft ones. I was looking on e-bay, but I thought maybe someone knew somthin I did'nt.

Have you tried "borrowing" a set from one of the other bands you might be on the same bill with? That way you not only solve this "case problem" (and save some $$), but you won't have to deal with schlepping all that gear around. Plus think of the extra time you'll have while the rest of your band is setting up and tearing down their stuff.

Just sayin'...

But if we are on the same bill, wont they be using them?????

Ohhhhhhhh, I get ya now, you mean barrow their kit, good idea but, im one of those bitch drummers who has to use my own, especially because i'm like 6'6" and it's hard to adapt to other peps kits without doing all kinds adjustments, which pisses them off.

So I found some sweet fuckin cases. Gator cases, musicians friend is the cheapest place to get them, plus they have free shipping for everything over $100. The set is $349, plus an extra floor tom case which was like $90, but they are bad ass, all padded and shit, just as nice as SKB's, but half the price. Just an fyi.

Oh, and dont buy the Nomad's, they are really cheap, but there is no padding, and there universal fit. Better than nothin though.
