I liken the art of the Troll to that of a "bomb-head" or "graffiti artist." Many of these assholes are reviled, deservedly so, for spreading their filth and sometimes genuinely worthwhile "art" on other peoples' private property or city property. It's a no-brainer that these shitheads don't have the right to do whatever they want to property that isn't theirs, but they do it anyway.

They're rebels. And yes, they are true artists - even the ones that can only scrawl their initials or make big, puffy circles that spell "Cush" over and over down the same alley. Yes, they're painfully moronic and crude, but they are stepping up to the plate, boldly expressing themselves, saying to the world, "Hey! Look how pathetic I am! I can't afford a canvas or find anyone who really wants to see my art, so I will force it onto the world!"

In the same way, Trolls are artists. Art is hardly worth pursuing if it isn't provocative, forcing us to think differently or to look at the world in new and different ways. This is the job of the Troll - to find new meaning in life. Even when the Troll is censored or obliterated or blocked, the aftermath and the detritus and remains of answer posts lay in the Troll's wake, proving a skeleton or ghostly reminder of what once was, much in the same way that Brian Eno makes use of the erase button when constructing his masterpieces of sonic minimalism.

Thus the Troll is a worthwhile, viable and much needed societal tool, a foil for internet regimentation, rules and complacency. A way to stir up the too comfortable posters and poseurs who insist that a thread must remain on topic and that exchanges must adhere to dull, mind-numbing parameters. All hail the Troll!

Seriously, he has never expressed himself so eloquently, or with so few spelling and grammatical errors. I suspect plagiarism. How sad.
